Dear Friends,
As Artistic Directors of the Ives Collective, we write with deep gratitude—and with exciting news about the season ahead. Our upcoming concerts continue to reflect the artistic excellence and intimate spirit you’ve come to expect, while also embracing a bold new initiative to welcome more people into the world of live chamber music.
This season, we are introducing a Pay What You Can ticketing option for a section of seats at each concert venue. This nationally proven model is designed to lower barriers for students, families, and others who may be new to classical music or for whom traditional ticket prices may be out of reach. These tickets will be available at the door, and we invite patrons to pre-register via Eventbrite so we can prepare our venues and welcome everyone with care.
At the same time, we remain committed to our loyal subscribers and single-ticket buyers, who will continue to enjoy priority seating in the front rows. Purchasing tickets in advance remains the best way to secure premium seats and sustain the artistry and musicianship that define the Ives Collective.
This thoughtful change reflects our core belief: that great music should be shared as widely—and as generously—as possible. By combining priority seating with Pay What You Can access, we hope to create an experience that is both inclusive and sustainable.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter or attending your very first Ives performance, we hope to see you this season—and perhaps with friends or family in tow.
With warmest appreciation,
Stephen Harrison & Susan Freier

The Salon Series remains a cornerstone of our programming and an enriching experience for those who want to explore chamber music in greater depth.
