If you are making an online donation to honor a special person, please place your order and then email our Executive Director, at info@ivescollective.org with the name of the honoree. She will make sure that your gift is appropriately acknowledged.
Required Minimum Distribution
If you are over 70 1/2 years old and need to take a Required Minimum Distribution from your Retirement Account each year, you can chose to donate the distribution and pay no taxes on that additional income. The provision for tax-free distributions from IRAs is a perfect way to donate to non-profits such as the Ives Collective. We encourage you to discuss this philanthropic giving strategy with your tax advisor.
A board of directors oversees the Ives Collective governance and operations. The Ives Quartet, doing business as the Ives Collective, is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Corporation funded by individual donors, corporate sponsors, governmental entities, and foundations. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
